Dr. Ali Rajabi, MD, FAAD, FASDS, FACMS, is a dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and cosmetic dermatologic surgeon. He completed his dermatology residency in the Department of Dermatology at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he distinguished himself as a top-performing resident and was honored as Resident of the Year in Dermatologic Surgery. He also completed a preliminary year in general surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Rajabi further refined his surgical and cosmetic expertise through dual fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS)-accredited Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at Dermatologic SurgiCenter in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with nationally/internationally recognized and renowned dermatologic surgeon Dr. Anthony Benedetto.
Prior to his residency training, Dr. Rajabi served as a Clinical Dermatology Research Fellow in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. His research spans multiple areas of dermatology, including melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, nail tumors, hair disorders, laser applications, scar treatment, and advanced skin imaging technologies such as Optical Coherence Tomography.
Dr. Rajabi is the lead author and co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters in the field of dermatology. He has also presented nationally and internationally at prominent dermatologic meetings and contributes to the academic field as a peer reviewer for esteemed journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Dermatologic Surgery, Lasers in Medical Science, Dermatologic Therapy, and Archives of Dermatological Research.
Dr. Rajabi remains dedicated to advancing dermatology through research, innovation, and exceptional patient care, with special interests in hair loss, cosmetic and laser surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, and dermatologic surgery.
